  • I know I've been trying to keep my entries once a year, but it seems like I have a bit more free time to write lately especially now that I'm working night shifts.   It's time to break this tradition and get the ball rolling again, but don't be surprised if I disappear after a few posts.

Anyways I was a bit shocked when I read this article.  You know times are REALLY BAD when whores need to get  diplomas to compete in prostitution.

Yeah I'm sure their parents must be REAL proud their accomplishments.

  • Dang another year went by and it went FAST!  Seems like it was only yesterday that I made my last entry.  Wonder if anybody still reads this anymore?  Alright time to recap since my last entry....

    1) On the good side, I finally got myself out of "Intern" status and am working full time now.  The bad side is it's a 12 1/2 hour night shift for three days.  Still can't really say no to it when it promises to double your salary, but it's pretty painful working that kinda shift.  Although I am more of a morning person, I think I'm starting to get used to this vampire life.  Only thing I hate dealing with is the fucking construction noise outside during the daytime.  I can't friggin believe they chose this summer to start renovating the entire area....rebuilding all the parks and sidewalks and shit.  It gets to the point where my entire apartment is vibrating from the bulldozers.

    2) Set myself up with 3 goals this year:

    a) Finish paying off my student loan (already half way there)

    b) Get my CCNA certification

    c) Get a day shift job hopefully with a higher pay!  =)

    3) Me and Annie celebrated our 3 years together!  Time sure flies by.  Anyways I've updated the profile pic since I'm sure ya'll probably sick of seeing the old one for the past 2 years already.  =P

Politics: Well Bush got re-elected again which was a no brainer especially when you only got two idiots running for the spot.  Doesn't take rocket science to figure out that people are more comfortable with the idiot they are familiar with.  That's what sucks about a two party system and I believe the Simpsons have already touched on this subject with the "Citizen Kang" episode.  LOL

Religion: Tis a sad year that we lost one of the most influential person.  Pope John Paul II is now succeeded by Pope Benedict XVI.  I know it's not easy to select a new pope as the candidate needs 2/3 of the votes, but did they need to elect somebody 78 years old?  I'm already hearing from other folks about how soon these cardinals will need to get together again......

Although I don't buy it, but here's an interesting read:

International:  I'm sure ya'll heard about how the Japanese's history textbook was changed to look like China invited them over during World War II and how they actually did them a favor by trying to take control.  WTF?  As much as I love the Japanese folks and culture, but that's pretty fucked up.  Did they actually think they could get away with that and not expect any retaliation?  They'll probably need some of these after China's through with them....

    Mmmm....this looks yummy....

Alright I think that's about wraps it.  I'll smell ya folks next year.  =)

  • Hey! Hey!  Look who's back after ONE year around!  Damn, can't believe I'm still updating this.  Maybe I will make this my annual journal LOL!Anyways, let’s see what’s worth mentioning since my last update.

Gym – Well I’ve finally managed to haul my lazy ass off to the gym.  Big changes??...nah Noticable changes??...probably a little.  Maybe it might have something to do with the gym I’ve been going to.  I just can’t pinpoint what it is, but something doesn’t look right…..

Iraq War – What can I say?  I’m at a loss of words for why we’re even there in the first place, but the following article just says it all.

Bush To Iraqi Militants: 'Please Stop Bringing It On'

WASHINGTON, DC—In an internationally televised statement Monday, President Bush modified a July 2003 challenge to Iraqi militants attacking U.S. forces. "Terrorists, Saddam loyalists, and anti-American insurgents: Please stop bringing it on now," Bush said at a Monday press conference. "Nine months and 500 U.S. casualties ago, I may have invited y'all to bring it on, but as of today, I formally rescind that statement. I would officially like for you to step back." The president added that the "it" Iraqis should stop bringing includes gunfire, bombings, grenade attacks, and suicide missions of all types.

My question is how in blazes does an inferior technological country manage to give us the smackdown.  Maybe it might have something to do with their new weaponry…

Other then that, life has been the same.  Getting crushed with the huge workload and not having much luck finding a new job.  Still need to wait another 3 weeks before I can see Annie again.  Work and life sucks, but maybe I shouldn't complain.  Others probably have it even worst.

    Anyways, I think I've said enuff....until next year ya'll...

  • Well time for a new entry again.  What? You thought I was joking when I said I write an entry every 3 months??  Hehe j/k.  I didn't have much to write anyways.  All I've been doing lately is work, sleep and eat.  Rinse and repeat....that's the story of my life.

Anyhow, I've been noticing a trend these days.  Roughly three weeks ago, my boss passed by my desk during lunchtime.  That day I got Jap food, actually a chicken teriyaki combo and he said,

"Stan, you're always making me hungry.  Do you know you eat like a King?"

Well of course I didn't think much of it until yesterday when I went eating wit a bunch of co-workers in my department.  One of them said...

"You know, Stan doesn't fuck around when it comes to food.  He knows how to eat well."

LOL...is it me or do I really eat that well?

Well afterwards I went here hoping they can help me find something that I've been searching all my life.

And of course, I can't leave this out.......

They will ensure your safety in SHIT.....  You just can't have a better policy than that.

    _________________________________________________________

Sighs can't wait til the last week of May come.  I am so looking forward to going down to Virginia and spend time wit my Bibi again.  I miss her alot....

Well if you're reading this babes, I just wanna say I love you alot. =)
